TIME WITH O.S.S.
I joined OSS in March of 2020 after a server seeding match with Mr Maukie when he asked what I thought about being in a unit. So like all impressionable young Post players I took a chance. Little did I know how much I would have been sucked in . I joined when OSS was starting to explode with new players and it was a combination of COVID starting up and people spending more time at home. Soon after joining I befriended a local unit legend by the name of ℂ𝕌𝕊𝕋𝔼ℝ(d). History from there. I wasn't a very good shot and I hated taking special kit's away from people that knew how to use them- so I ended up doing the thing most people avoided like the plague. Squad leading. Together Custer and I rose in the ranks to infantry leaders and boy did we have a good system. Custer's Calvary and Sarge's Eagles. After many battles together Custer had to leave for Westpoint, which was super exciting for him. This then encouraged me to meet many many other great OG's in the unit whom are now my IRL friends. Soon I found myself helping out with more and more things and I loved every minute of it. I thought and think there is something very special about OSS and was glad I got to be there to see when it's identity really started to form. Before I knew it I came home from work one day and suddenly the role ferries had made a mistake. I was labeled Platoon Commander. It's a role I never intended on having, but will never regret accepting. I've tried to own as much as I can, and as long as I'm doing it- someone else doesn't have to. This unit brings me great joy and I will do what it takes to keep this unit the unforgettable time it already has been.
BEST O.S.S. EXPERIENCE
My best OSS experience is definitely not one, but many. I think I've worked on a project with damn near everyone in command here and it was in those moments of grinding and pushing and planning to get those projects that I really got to know most of you fat cats. Hartenstein and the Sneaky OSS doomed Utah events are really high up there, but all of my really favorite moments have been getting to know you guys.
EXPERIENCE AND GAMING HISTORY
This ones short, I've pretty much played single player games my entire life. The Fallout series, GTA series, Bioshock series, Mafia series, and the Company of Heroes series are among the few I spent a lot of time in. Post was really my first multiplayer one. Fun for me I picked a damned near hardcore game compared to what I was playing! The teamwork, the genre, the maps, and the combined arms. I fell in love with it all. Playing and interacting with real people. And the teamwork aspect was unlike any other I've witnessed in a game to this day. Out of my (now) 1300 hours of Post Scriptum 1000 of those hours have been squad leading and it's something I tried to get very good at so others could have more fun in their kits. I think most have witnessed my questionable tactics (cough cough aggressive rallies, and amazing driving skills), but a squad really kicking ass in Post is the best experience I've ever had out of any of the games I've played.
TIME WITH O.S.S.
Original member since the 505th days. Been in the PS Unit Community for 3 Years now! (WOW) Best OSS Experience: Definitely a toss-up, the early events like “For Flak Sake!” and newer events like “Doorwerth Pocket” were really fun for me! I really enjoy the satisfaction of making a great event for OSS and the AEF. Also t-bagging guys who disobeyed cease fire rules while screaming “I LOVE IKE!” was pretty awesome too.
EXPERIENCE AND GAMING HISTORY
My gaming History before PS was mostly mainstream games like COD and Battlefield, but more desire for a realistic experience brought me where I am today! Also have a lot of experience now making Custom Events as head of Mission Control, really a honor to be here to make great content for y’all!
REAL LIFE
Midwestern and ripe 28 year old boy from Indiana, lived in Minnesota for a while as a kid too. Huge Vikings Football fan (unfortunately) and also a big Motorsports fan! F1 is my newest addiction but I loved NASCAR as a kid. (RIP Dale) My interests are very diverse I’d say, so I can’t really fit it all here! Best part of IRL right now is my almost 2 year old Nephew, I would do anything for that little guy!
TIME WITH O.S.S.
Hey there! My name is Sulley. I joined the O.S.S in July of 2019. I have absolutely loved my time in this gaming and online community! I am currently in Las Vegas, Nevada being the ultimate Choccy Milk lover the world has ever seen.
BEST O.S.S. EXPERIENCE
My favorite O.S.S memory would be giving birth to the sneaky O.S.S movement. Sarge and I defeated a garrison of 10 Germans on Utah beach by sneaking around the flank of the beachhead and we had a BLAST!! My favorite gaming experience would probably be playing Star Citizen with Kneely and gazing out into space (Kneely pushed me out of the ship, and I suffocated).
EXPERIENCE AND GAMING HISTORY
I’ve been gaming and immersed in realism since I was probably 12 years old. I used to be a competitive swimmer for my university back in Boston, Mass. When I’m not studying for my MBA program at Utah State, I can be seen walking my puppy Winnie and or hanging out in the pool with my family in Las Vegas. I am an avid skier and love the outdoors as well!
TIME WITH O.S.S.
Hey there!! I'm Libby, I spent 4 years in the Army with RealityCheck. I am also a firearms instructor and now I work on furniture. I like to play Post Scriptum, Insurgency Sandstorm, Squad, Tarkov and Battlefield 3 and 4.
BEST O.S.S. EXPERIENCE
Was when Reality Check and I went around as sappers and blew up a bunch of supply drops.
"Our Father, Who Sends Others to Heaven"
TIME WITH O.S.S.
My call sign is Tinner I am a Lt. in the O.S.S in charge of Logistics. Most know me as PAPA Tinner. I have been with the O.S.S since its birth and before when the group split off from a unit that was imploding. We started the O.S.S mid 2019 as a relaxed gaming group, which primarily played Post Scriptum (WWII First person strategy game) and some Squad.
BEST O.S.S. EXPERIENCE
Being able to be in a YouTube video with Cornhole patrol where he caught me driving over a berm with my logi while he has the dixie horn playing. Also being recognized for my bacon wrapped FOB.
EXPERIENCE AND GAMING HISTORY
I have close to 2k hours in playing Post and used to play War Thunder before it got to be to grind orientated. Prior to computer gaming I used to play board games like squad leader and Panzer blitz and was active in paintball. In my real life I own a heating and air conditioning company and have been a Civil War living historian with about 18 years as a musician in that. I also play music with a band and have been working on a new album.
TIME WITH O.S.S.
I have been a part of the unit since December of 2020, the great covid times.
BEST O.S.S. EXPERIENCE
Pubbing with the unit for the first time. Sarge, Kneely, and bunch of other guys pubbing trolling and using sound boards.
REAL LIFE
1/SGT in the OSS. From the Midwest, going on my 4th year in college. Love baseball and my Chicago White Sox.
TIME WITH O.S.S.
I joined the unit in August 2021 after meeting a bunch of the guys and Sulley while pubbing. It didn’t take long to realize I stumbled into something great. Once I got settled in I started looking for ways I could contribute and help the unit grow. Ultimately, I ended up in Platoon Staff to help with administration and fill in wherever help is needed across the other branches.
BEST O.S.S. EXPERIENCE
There’s been so many little moments it’s hard to name one. Hardly a week goes by without something fun and crazy happening. The defense of Nimegan was probably my overall peek highlight of planning, prep, and working as a unit that culminated in on hell of a battle in game. Overall I have really enjoyed my time here. There are a lot of wonderful people in the unit (and AEF community) and I’ve made some great friends.
EXPERIENCE AND GAMING HISTORY
I’m old school, or maybe just old at this point. I’ve been gaming most of my life. I gravitate to anything with an interesting and immersive world, is based on history, or is team objective based. I also have a ton of experience managing and leading guilds in MMOs over the years (UO, Everquest, WOW) as well as competitive play in Team Fortress and Counterstrike. I love WW2 and realism so Post is my main jam, especially when playing with these guys. Some other favorite games: Mass Effect, The Witcher, Rainbow Six Siege, anything from Valve, and most of the Paradox strategy games.
TIME WITH O.S.S.
I joined the OSS Just when I started college in September of 2021 and have been an active member ever since. I now command the armored corps of the OSS and are working towards making a mobile indirect fire crew within the armor and working closely with the logistics and infantry for a tight-knit and combined arms experience.
BEST O.S.S. EXPERIENCE
I think my favorite moment is when I platoon led a Utah beach event for the Allies, watching the whole tank convoy we had off the beach advancing on the German HQ was amazing!!
EXPERIENCE AND GAMING HISTORY
I’ve played games since I was about 4 years old, first with racing games then I was introduced to call of duty and halo 3 ODST when I was a bit older and after that have taken my experience from the console to the PC side of things, I’ve played company of heroes 2 since 2014 and have been patiently awaiting Company of heroes 3 since it was announced to be coming out this year, my first Milsim game was Post scriptum which I bought with my brand new PC two years ago.
